Tcher'nogogorath The Slumbering God, The God of Visions, The Thousand Eyes, His Infernal Majesty, He Who Comes. Genus: Unknown (possibly a Celestine, Incarna or greater Umbrood) |
| For aeons has Tcher'nogogorath slept nestled in the Deep Umbra--the darkest and most remote reaches of the spirit world--its thousands of eyes each sleeping and awakening with the passing of millenia. Somehow, the missionary who would become Simon Meridius met the Slumbering God and became its vessel, a vehicle through which to bear its dreams and visions to the waking world of Earth. Among the words passed down through Meridius was this: When the last of Tcher'nogogorath's eyes is opened, its servants shall inherit the Earth...an ideal which the Ministry works ardently to bring about. |

Simon Meridius The Allfather, The Most Favored Genus: Mage Tradition: Nephandus -- Celestial Chorus barabbi |
| This is all that remains of Reverend Lawrence Tannerbrook, the missionary and Chorister mage who vanished by way of an atmospheric anomaly over Mauritania, only to mysteriously return a naked, raving madman five years later. Years after that he appeared to recover his sanity and rebuilt his ministry--the World Church of the Living Christ--into the Ministry of Light. But behind the pious facade and beneath the Judeo-Christian trappings, one will find that the good reverend--now something greater, or perhaps something less--has cast Jehovah aside in favor of a new god and master: Tcher'nogogorath. |
